A number of free programs that had been offered by community organizations in Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) Community Health Team spaces are now being offered virtually.

Morning Meditation – Meditate Nova Scotia

Experience guided meditation with introduction to simple techniques and how to practice on your own. Seven early morning sessions in just three weeks to get you off to a good start. Online Mindfulness Groups (OMGs)The Atlantic Contemplative Centre (ACC)

The Atlantic Contemplative Centre hosts three online mindfulness groups every week via Zoom.

Participation in these OMGs is free and volunteer-led by ACC facilitators. All sessions will follow the in-person OMG format: check-in, then 15-20 minutes of silence for mindfulness practice (some guided, some in silence), followed by individual walking practice and then another session of mindfulness practice.
