Holly Woodworth | Housing Support Worker

Holly is a passionate mental health advocate and housing support worker driven to impact positive, sustainable change.

In her work and life, Holly uses an intersectional feminist-lens, nurturing connection, and curiosity, as well as through self-reflective practices.

She is focused on personal growth, which helps to keep her grounded in the important work she does in assisting people in acquiring and maintaining affordable housing.

On a personal level, Holly is proud to say she has experienced great growth in her own mental health recovery journey. She was the first person to graduate, with an honour’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies, from Acadia University in Wolfville, NS.

When not working Holly can be found being social with family and friends – beachcombing and rockhounding (all year-round), painting, writing, throwing sticks for her family’s duck tollers, Fundy and Gunner, and generally just being outside, in nature.

Her favourite quote is: “I am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own.” – Audre Lorde.
