NSCSW Advocacy Day 2024

It’s National Social Work Month! Please join the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers for our third annual Advocacy Day mini-conference.

Advocacy Day creates opportunities for social workers, social work students and social work educators to join together with clients and community organizations in advocating for change in Nova Scotia.

Come and listen to social justice advocates from social work and beyond, as well as those with first voice experiences, as we come together to share our hopes, concerns, ideas and recommendations with the decision-makers who have the power to reconfigure our health care system. Let’s learn together, and then transform our learning into collective action.

This mini-conference is completely free to attend, and open to the public.
