CMHA NS Division launches Living Life to the Full program

Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division [CMHA NS] is pleased to announce the launch of Living Life to the Full, an eight-week program designed to help participants maximize their ability to deal with life’s challenges.

The program was created by Dr. Chris Williams, a psychiatrist and expert in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Living Life to the Full teaches a range of life skills that are based on the tried and trusted CBT approach, to aim to improve well-being and resilience as individuals go through the journey of life.

Participants learn:

The program is offered over the course of eight 90-minute sessions for a total of 12 hours. Living Life to the Full will be offered virtually using Zoom as well as in person.

The virtual edition launches September 7, 2023 and will run from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. . on Thursdays from through October 26. There is no charge to participate but participants must attend all 8 sessions to complete the course. The in person version will be launch in October with the details to be announced soon!

PLEASE NOTE: Living Life to the Full is open to all Nova Scotians. It is for anyone dealing with stress, anxiety or just needing help in dealing with life’s challenges. Living Life to the Full is not recommended for people who have been diagnosed with severe depression, anxiety or post-traumatic stress disorder.
