Transgender Day of Remembrance

🌈 On November 20, CMHA Nova Scotia Division stands in solidarity with the transgender community to honour the lives of those lost to violence. Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is a poignant reminder of the need for advocacy and action in creating a safer, more inclusive world.

Transgender individuals face significant challenges, including heightened risks of chronic physical and mental health issues, discrimination, and everyday transphobia. These realities can lead to social isolation and hinder access to essential healthcare.

At CMHA Nova Scotia Division, we are committed to championing mental health and embracing diversity. Together, let’s work towards a compassionate world where everyone is valued and supported.
