THRIVE Spring Sessions launch on April 18!

Mental health. It wasn’t a class at school. So where can Nova Scotians go to learn about mental health and well-being? The answer is THRIVE Learning Centre for Mental Wellness and Well-Being.

The Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division is proud to launch our Spring 2023 THRIVE workshops.

Courses offered throughout April, May and June include Mental Health Resources, Understanding Mental Health, Procrastination, Supporting Someone with a Mental illness, Gratitude and more.

We are also thrilled to offer several brand new workshop series, including Tapping, Creative Strengths for Resilience, Newcomer Mental Health  and Parenting and Mental Health.

Thrive Workshops are:

THRIVE is an innovative, safe, and welcoming learning space that provides free courses designed to support mental health, boost resilience and promote connection.

THRIVE courses are developed by subject experts and mental health professionals, working together with people who have their own experience in personal recovery.

Everyone is welcome to attend. No previous experience is required and with a variety of courses to choose from, there is one for everyone.  (Courses are updated quarterly.)
