Breagh’s Ride for Mental Health Fundraiser surpasses $3,000 goal

Halifax/Kjipuktuk – Breagh MacDonald celebrated her 33rd birthday by cycling 104 kilometers in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division (CMHA NS). Calling it ‘Breagh’s 100 km for Mental Health,’ the Cole Harbour resident aimed to raise $3,000 in support of CMHA NS. MacDonald surpassed her goal by more than $2,000.

On June 22, MacDonald presented CMHA NS Executive Director Karn Nichols with the proceeds — $5,425, all of which will be used to support CMHA NS programing and education.
CMHA NS is a not-for-profit charitable organization that delivers mental health supports, free of cost to anyone who needs them. Mental health has a significant impact on how people relate to others, make decisions, and handle stress.
