Unlock Your Mental Health Potential: Join the THRIVE Workshops this March!
Feb 18, 2025
The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Nova Scotia Division is excited to introduce a new series of THRIVE workshops this March, designed to help you build practical skills for better mental health.
Whether you’re interested in learning more about mental health resources or how to introduce your child to emotional regulation through yoga, these workshops offer a range of tools and strategies to support your mental well-being.
What is THRIVE?
THRIVE is a free virtual learning centre that helps Nova Scotians build skills to promote and support their mental health. It’s accessible, inclusive, and designed with you in mind.
✅ No clinical referral needed
✅ No diagnosis required
✅ Fully virtual – join from anywhere!
Our workshops are a chance to connect, learn, and take meaningful steps toward better mental well-being. Let’s grow stronger together—because when we support one another, we all THRIVE.
Check out our calendar and register today!
Post Traumatic Growth | March 6 | 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Whether you’re navigating your own journey of healing or supporting others, this workshop will equip you with practical tools to support growth and healing—both for yourself and others.
Mental Health Resources | March 11 | 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
People who are experiencing episodes of mental illness—and the people who care for them—need information. However, that information is not always readily available and the search for answers may require more energy and persistence than what we have available in times of crisis.
In this session we review a comprehensive list of curated mental health resources available to Nova Scotians and review how to access them.
Playful Poses: Introducing Yoga to Children with Care and Creativity | March 17 | 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Ideal for parents, grandparents, teachers, and other caregivers, the session focuses on practical, age-appropriate yoga practices that can be used to foster mindfulness, movement, and emotional regulation in children.
Eliminating Self-Sabotage | March 26 | 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Many of us encounter obstacles on the path to our goals, often due to limiting beliefs and habits. This workshop empowers participants to uncover the ways their mindset can hold them back and provides practical tools to unlock their true potential.
Join us this March to learn, grow, and take meaningful steps toward better mental health. Whether you’re looking for ways to better support yourself or others, these workshops are designed to provide you with the tools and strategies you need to thrive.
Spaces are limited, so make sure to register early and secure your spot. We can’t wait to grow stronger together!
