Shauna Brousseau | Coordinated Access Assessment Specialist and Coordinator

As a member of the Coordinated Access team, Shauna Brousseau works to remove the barriers individuals have in accessing safe and affordable housing.

After years working as a paramedic and a caseworker with the Province, Shauna saw firsthand the impact that unmet social determinants of health have on individuals, families, communities, and Nova Scotia as a whole.

This led to her obtaining her diploma in Social Services from NSCC. Shauna is passionate about community development, change management, and capacity building in both the community and systems level.

Outside of work Shauna enjoys spending time with her two dogs, being outdoors, and tending to her flower and vegetable garden.
