Mosaic for Mental Health Art Exhibition & Sale is back this Friday

MEDIA RELEASE — CMHA Halifax Dartmouth is proud to announce the return of their signature fundraising event, The Mosaic for Mental Health Art Exhibition & Sale. The event, which includes a record 925 pieces, kicks off October 15 at noon and runs until October 31. Artworks can be purchased online through the ‘Mosaic Market’ at www.cmhahalifaxdartmouth.ca and are on display for in-person viewing at The Craig Gallery, located at Alderney Landing, 2 Ochterloney Street, Dartmouth.
Guided by this year’s theme of ‘Connected,’ each work featured is created by professional and amateur artists who care about mental health and mental illness.

“The Mosaic for Mental Health is a vibrant celebration of community coming together to support mental wellness,” says Erica Allanach, Mosaic Committee Co-Chair. “The pandemic has highlighted just how crucial social connection is to mental health, and this year’s theme of ‘Connected’ celebrates our collective resilience and the various ways we can stay connected to one another.”

All proceeds from this event will support the social programs delivered by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Halifax-Dartmouth Branch.
