Newcomers Peer Support Group [YARMOUTH] [IN PERSON]
Settling into a new home in a new country can be lonely.
Having a support group is a great way to meet new people, form friendships, and settle into the community.
This support group offers newcomers the opportunity to connect, support each other, share stories, discuss strategies for solving problems and reflect on their experiences.
The group is designed to help participants:
- Improve wellbeing;
- Build self-confidence and social skills;
- Feel a sense of belonging; and
- Learn about community services and settlement resources
