Caregiver Connections Peer Support Group
This weekly, virtual peer support group provides caregivers with a safe and friendly place to connect with others, feel heard and hear from others who understand.
Caregiver Connections is peer-led and non-clinical. This means it is facilitated by a Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division staff member with lived experience providing emotional and practical support to a loved one living with a mental illness.
Discussion topics include self-care, boundaries, conflict resolution, communication styles, active listening, the WIN formula, grief, the mental health continuum, and values.
