Charitable Donation Tax Deadline Extended!

Your Support Can Transform Lives: Donate to Mental Health in Nova Scotia

The Government of Canada has extended the deadline for donations eligible for 2024 tax receipts until February 28, 2025. This means you still have time to make a lasting impact by supporting mental health in Nova Scotia.

At the Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division (CMHA-NS), we are dedicated to improving mental health and ensuring everyone has access to the support they need. Whether it’s providing housing, employment support, mental health education, or peer support groups, we’re creating spaces where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive.

However, we cannot do this important work without you.

Last Year, Your Support Helped Us:

Every dollar you contribute directly impacts someone’s journey to wellness. It helps a teenager battling anxiety find hope, a parent struggling with depression regain their strength, and a community rebuild its collective resilience.

When you give to the Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division, you’re ensuring that people can access the support they need, exactly when they need it most.

Why Your Gift Matters

Mental health is the foundation of our ability to connect, contribute, and thrive. Yet, for many, mental health support is still out of reach. With your help, we can change that. By donating to CMHA Nova Scotia Division, you’re not only contributing to critical mental health services but also building a community where mental health is prioritized.

Donate Today

As the deadline for tax receipts approaches, consider making a gift to help us continue this crucial work. Together, we can ensure that everyone has access to the care and resources they need for a healthier future.

If you have any questions or need assistance with your donation, please reach out to Erin Christie, Provincial Lead, Communications and Community Engagement, at [email protected]

For more information on tax receipts, visit the Canada Revenue Agency’s website.
