WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY EVENT: From Grief to Growth: How loss inspired my career in suicide prevention

September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day, an annual initiative to promote awareness and foster understanding of suicide and the impact it has on individuals and communities.

This years’ theme is ‘Changing the Narrative on Suicide’ with an associated call to action to ‘Start the Conversation’. Changing the narrative on suicide is about transforming how we perceive this complex issue. It’s about shifting from a culture of silence and lack of understanding to one of openness, empathy, and support.

For more than two decades Veronica Marshall-Bernard has been working to shift the narrative on suicide by combining her personal experience with suicide loss and professional experience as clinical therapist specializing in suicide and life promotion, to help others who have lost cope with their grief, heal and find hope.

Join us on September 10 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. to as Veronica shares her inspiring story, as well as tools to support your community.

Register HERE to claim your spot today.

PLEASE NOTE: Seats are limited. Please, only register if you plan on attending. At this time, we are not planning on releasing a recording of the event. Should that change and it is recorded, registration will not be necessary to access a recording. Please contact us if you wish to cancel your registration.

This event is free to attend but donations to support our suicide prevention programs are welcome. Donate HERE
