CMHA NS offering free safeTALK workshops in Halifax and Yarmouth this fall

The Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division is proud to offer two free safeTALK workshops this fall.

Developed by LivingWorks Canada, safeTALK prepares participants to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect individuals-in-need to someone trained in suicide first aid using TALK (Tell, Ask, Listen and KeepSafe).

This half-day training will be offered in person in Halifax and Yarmouth in October and November respectively to anyone 15 years of age and up who wants to help prevent suicide.

CMHA NS Division is able to offer this workshop free of charge thanks to grant funding from the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.

Who should attend safeTALK?
