See the Difference We Made Together: CMHA NS 2024–25 Impact Report
Jun 20, 2025
Each year, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Nova Scotia Division (CMHA NS) publishes an Annual Impact Report that reflects on the work we’ve done, the challenges we’ve faced, and the progress we’ve made across the province. It’s an opportunity to share how we’re supporting Nova Scotians in their mental health journeys—and to recognize the partnerships and people who make that work possible.
In 2024–25, we continued to deliver programs and services that meet people where they are, with practical support, education, and connection.
Here are a few highlights from the past year:
- 952 Individuals benefited from mental health education programs like THRIVE and Changing Minds.
- 579 participants were trained in suicide prevention programs, gaining life-saving skills to recognize and respond to warning signs.
- 249 individuals received meaningful support through our peer support programs, helping to reduce isolation and build connection.
- 213 individuals and families accessed critical housing support and trustee services through Project H.O.P.E.
- 36 participants gained personalized employment support through our At Work program.
These numbers reflect just a portion of the work happening every day across the province.
We invite you to read the full 2024–25 Impact Report to learn more about how CMHA NS is working to improve mental health outcomes in communities across Nova Scotia.
Thank you for your continued support.
