Kicking off a National suicide awareness and fundraising campaign is a Cross-Canada concert for suicide prevention, awareness and hope! The healing power of music will draw Canadians together in a remarkable event to mark World Suicide Prevention Day. From sunrise to sunset, a series of concerts will take place in 13 cities from coast to coast, live-streamed at each location and online at http://mysteriousbarricades.org.
The Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division in partnership with Dalhousie University is hosting a live event in Halifax on Saturday, September 10, 2016, 7:30 AM at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium, Dalhousie Arts Centre, 6101 University Avenue
The Halifax concert includes performances by Dalhousie University alumni, faculty and friends. Live screening of all concerts from across the nation will begin at 6:00 am and continue until 12 midnight in the Arts Centre 406.
Both the concert and live screenings are FREE – everyone welcome!
