Join our volunteer board of directors and help us work to ensure that all people in Nova Scotia experience good mental health and well-being.

The Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division [CMHA NS] is seeking two dedicated and conscientious community leaders to join our volunteer board of directors in providing direction and oversight to a dynamic not-for-profit organization that promotes and enhances the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of our community.

The Board of Directors is currently seeking to fill two volunteer board positions, specifically with individuals who identify as:

Eight board meetings are held per fiscal year, meetings are held using a hybrid model (virtual and face-to-face). Board meetings are typically 2.5 hours in duration.

About CMHA NS: The Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division [CMHA NS] supports the resilience, recovery and well-being of people living with mental illness and those experiencing mental health challenges across the province.  The Canadian Mental Health Association is one of the oldest and most extensive community mental health organizations in Canada.   We proudly represent three branches and 40 staff working in communities across Nova Scotia.
