Empathy in Action Speaker Series videos now available

CMHA Mental Health Week is over but you can continue the conversation all year long.

This year, Mental Health Week was all about Empathy.  But empathy is a skill we can practice everyday to support our mental health and the mental health of our community.

In recognition of the important role empathy plays in individual and community mental health, the Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division [CMHA NS] hosted Empathy in Action, a virtual speaker series  held in conjunction with CMHA Mental Health Week [May 2- May 8, 2022] includes mental health advocates from across the province, who will cover a wide range of topics including depression, mental health in the workplace, suicide prevention, grief, trauma and addiction.

If you were unable to attend any of the sessions or would like to view them again, the recordings can be viewed by following the links below.

** Please Note: These sessions may contain material that is sensitive in nature and could be upsetting for some viewers. Support was provided during the live session. If you need help, please know, you are not alone. Help is available. **
