CMHA NS is proud to announce Tracy Hiltz as At-Work Team Lead

Karn Nichols, Executive Director of the Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division [CMHA NS], is thrilled to announce the promotion of Tracy Hiltz to Provincial Lead of the CMHA NS At-Work/Au Travail team, effective Monday, December 20, 2021.

Tracy joined CMHA NS in 2020 and has been an integral part of the At-Work team in her role as an Employment Support Worker and Job Developer.

To her new role, Tracy brings 12 years of experience working in the mental health field, as well as a wealth of knowledge rooted in her own lived experience as a former participant in the At-Work program.

Mental illness doesn’t need to be an obstacle to employment, and no one demonstrates dedication to that notion more than Tracy,” says Karn Nichols, Executive Director of the Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division.

“She is deeply committed to empowering clients to reach their full potential and find suitable, sustainable employment and supporting employers in finding the skilled people they need. I hope everyone will join me in welcoming Tracy to her new role and wish her the best as she begins this new chapter.”

Tracy takes over the role from Sally Tucker. Sally will be moving on to a new role at Landing Strong, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting military members, veterans and first responders who are experiencing the effects of operational stress injuries.

“The entire CMHA NS team wishes Sally all the best in her new role at Landing Strong,” adds Nichols.

“We know, wherever her path leads her,  Sally will have a brilliant career.”
