CMHA-NS Division celebrates International Women’s Day 2021

On March 8, the Canadian Mental Health Association – Nova Scotia Division will join individuals and organizations around the world in celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD), an annual event held to mark the social, economic and political achievements of women.

The theme of IWD 2021 is #choosetochallenge.

A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.

From challenge comes change, so let’s all choose to challenge.

EVENT: Join the Halifax Regional Municipality [virtually] for the 2021 celebration of International Women’s Day on Monday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to noon. All are welcome to this free virtual event.
