Art of Friendship: Register Now

Meet new friends. Learn new skills. Make new community connections.

Beginning January 28, 2021, the Canadian Mental Health Association – Nova Scotia Division is offering The Art of Friendship, a workshop designed to help Nova Scotians struggling with a mental health issue retain meaningful connections that are essential for a happy and stable life.

The Art of Friendship program provides a safe, supportive environment where participants can further their health and well-being by reducing isolation and building social skills. Participants learn the skills of friendship building, meet new people, and learn about recovery and wellness skills.

Over the course of eight weeks, these interactive workshops will help participants build self-awareness and interpersonal skills through topics such as human behaviour, responsibility and commitment, values, boundaries, and trust, as well as dealing with conflict.

The Art of Friendship will be delivered through the CMHA-NS-Division online via Zoom and facilitated by peer support leaders and is available to all Nova Scotians ages 19 and up.

There is no fee to participate.

For more information to register, contact Shobha Gashus at 1-877-466-6606 ext.  2

NOTE: This workshop will fill up quickly! Reserve your spot TODAY!
