WORKSHOP: Therapeutic use of Music
Music is more than background noise or company on a long drive.
Music is also a powerful tool that shapes your identity and builds connections.
Join us for this two-part workshop and discover how to use music as a method of self-care, boost resilience, and bring joy, even in challenging times.
In the first session, we’ll explore the rich history of music and learn how to combine breathing exercises with music to block out the outside world and calm the restless mind.
In the second session, we’ll dive deeper into the connections we make to the music we listen to and discover how to use it to evoke desired emotional states for mood regulation.
NOTE: No musical background or expertise is required.
