The Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia celebrates the #GivingSeason
The Canadian Mental Health Association NS Division (CMHA NS) is kicking off the giving season by inspiring people to donate to mental health programs and initiatives in Nova Scotia. The #GivingSeason starts the beginning of October to coincide with Thanksgiving and is celebrated until after the Christmas holiday.
The #GivingSeason is a global movement that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.
“This giving season, CMHA NS is enthusiastic and encouraged about the generosity of Nova Scotians,” said Pamela Magee Executive Director of CMHA NS. “It is our hope through generous donations this giving season we will be able to further mental health programs and initiatives to develop safe and caring environments that will enhance the quality of life of all Nova Scotians.”
All donations received will go towards supporting reduced fee mental health programs and initiatives in Nova Scotia.
